　　Recycle 作動詞，意為“回收利用，在使用”例：we should recycle all our waste paper.

　　拓展：re-是表示“重復；又”的前綴。類似的詞還有reuse （重新使用）和rewrite(重寫）等例：The teacher asked me to rewrite the article.老師要我重寫那篇文章。

　　Students at a green school also learn ways to save energy and recycle at home.綠色學校的學生們也學習節約能源的方法和在家回收利用。

　　save energy意為“節約能源”其中save表示節約例：we should save energy as much as possible.我們應盡可能多的節約能源。

　　拓展:save的用法：（1）儲蓄；儲存例：They have saved enough money for the vocation。他們為假期積攢了足夠的錢。

　　Hopeless作形容詞，“無望的”。反義詞hopefull “有希望的”

　　例：He is hopeless about his chances of winning the contest.他沒有希望在競爭中獲勝。
