每到高三的時候，在部分學生當中就會出現一些薄弱學科。因此，學校會組織一些“中轉優”工作。我們從12月份開始了這樣的工作。年級布置給我們的任務是“解難答疑”，我任教高三（1）和高三（12班）， “中轉優”兩個班共10人。第一次我按照級部的要求我讓他們把前一階段學習中存在的問題提出來，當場給他們分別解答。一節課的時間很快過去了，但當同學們離開之后，我心里總有種說不出的滋味，輔導的事情是做了，但這樣做的效率到底如何，不問學生我自己也知道答案。所謂師者，傳道、授業解惑也。這樣的問題方式完全可以放在課后，學生有問題問一下也就行了，何必拿出單獨的時間來輔導呢？經過反思我從第二節課開始改變了教學的方式，我把一節課分成兩個部分：1.集中解決學生以往學習中存在問題，讓其他學生解答，讓學生教學生，特殊的問題由教師作答；2.圍繞一個主題啟發學生的發散思維，給出關鍵詞，然后讓學生寫成一篇作文。

　　第二節課上，在集中答疑之后，我開始幫助學生復習十二個月份的英語單詞，這些單詞對于高三的學生問題并不是太大，但我的用意并不是解決他們的單詞問題，而是要讓他們有一個明確的時間概念。隨后我在黑板上寫下了“June”。然后問他們“What’s special about June?” 有個學生在下面低聲說 “要高考了”。我隨即問到“How do you express ‘高考’ in English?” 這時他們都面面相覷,可以看出他們平時的詞匯積累是不夠的,我在黑板上寫下 “the National Entrance Examination is coming.” 我又問到: “Can we use any other similar word to take place of ‘coming’?” 其中一個答到: approaching.

　　T: What do you think of the National Entrance Examination?

　　S1: Fierce, competitive.

　　S2: It decides/ determines our fate.

　　T: What do you want to do after the exam?

　　S1: Relaxing.

　　S2: Make preparations for college life.

　　T: When you finish your middle school life, it means you are liberated and aren’t middle school students any more. You’ll be grown-ups or adults. Do you know what means?

　　S1: Make contributions to our society.

　　S2:Major in what we are interested in and learn some useful knowledge.

　　T: As a grown-up, you should be responsible for your deeds or behaviours.

　　Maybe you have a lot to think and write about. I’ll give you 20 minutes to write a short passage in class.
