　　在我國的北方有一種習(xí)俗，就是吃餃子，餃子的諧音即“交子”，表達(dá)了人們對更歲交子，對新的一年吉祥富裕的一種渴望。而南方人則喜歡在大年的早晨吃湯圓，意味著我們在新的一年里圓圓滿滿，團(tuán)團(tuán)圓圓。人們還喜歡把一種叫“薺菜”的蔬菜和湯圓一塊吃，“薺菜”有被稱作“聚財(cái)”意喻在新的一年招財(cái)進(jìn)寶，心想事成。

　　春節(jié)里，我們更少不了要放鞭炮來活躍一下春節(jié)時(shí)歡歡喜喜的'氣氛了。放鞭炮在民間還有一個(gè)傳說：相傳在遠(yuǎn)古的時(shí)侯，有一只叫“年”的怪獸，每到春節(jié)的時(shí)候就出來嚇唬人，于是人們就想了個(gè)辦法，用竹筒點(diǎn)燃扔向它，竹筒爆炸后發(fā)出很大的聲響，嚇走了年獸，放鞭炮的習(xí)俗就這樣流傳下來了。
